多个知名品牌燕麦片被指含致癌除草剂

燕麦片被指含有除草剂，这已经不是新鲜的新闻了。不过最新的一则新闻，再度引起民众的关注。美国环保组织「环境工作小组」（Environmental Working Group，EWG）指出，市场上43种燕麦食物含有除草剂「年年春」（Roundup）的主要化学物质草甘膦（glyphosate），而且大部分产品的草甘膦含量，超出儿童摄取的安全份量。

美国媒体报导，EWG指化验结果显示，知名品牌桂格燕麦（Quaker Oats）、家乐氏（Kellogg’s）和Cheerios等的化学物含量最高。

报导称，本月初一名患癌男子提控以美国农业大厂，没有警告民眾有致癌风险，旧金山法院裁定厂商必须赔偿该名男子2.89亿美元，引起民眾关注农药课题。
