马来西亚政府在2015年4月1日起开始落实消费税之后，各大电讯公司后付配套的费用也随着被征收6%的消费税。不过随着政府将在2018年6月1日开始把消费税降低至0%之后，这也意味着民众将可以省下这笔费用。
马电讯TM 今天也发出文告表示，用户将从6月份开始，接到无消费税的账单。例如TM Unifi Advance Plan 30Mbps的月费是RM179，之前在征收6%消费税的时候需要额外缴付RM10.74，也就是每月需缴付RM189.74。不过在调降消费税率后，用户每月只需缴付RM179。
如果你是Unifi Pro Plan的用户，Unifi Pro Plan 100Mbps的月费是RM329。在征收6%消费税时，你每月需交付RM348.74。在调降消费税率后，你每月也只需缴付RM329。
此外签购Unifi Lite 10Mbps的用户，目前你每月需缴付RM129 + RM7.74。不过在调降消费税率后，每月可以节省RM7.74，也就是每月只需缴付RM129。
不仅TM Unifi的用户可以节省，其他电讯公司也一样将调降收费，确切的新收费你可以查询自己的账单。
IMPLEMENTATION OF ZERO PERCENT GOODS AND SERVICES TAX (GST)

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to inform that in accordance with announcement by the Ministry of Finance to set the goods and services tax (GST) to zero percent, beginning 1 June 2018, the GST charge which appears in the Account Summary section of our customers’ monthly bill will be set at zero percent. Customers will receive their bills with zero percent GST rate starting 1st June 2018, according to their accounts’ respective bill cycle.
